More fun with studio light practice and food.

I did get to use my new shutter release cable though. Woot!

Is it just me, or do these cherries suffer greatly from "rear-end" look-alike-itus ? I flipped it 90o a) to get my mind off them looking like rear ends w/ tails and b) because I liked it better that way.

full view please.

great shot
i like the depth of field and textural quality in it, are you using a macro ring or just straight lens?
:iconkatastrophey:
I'm using a 60mm macro lens, not an adapter. I've been too chicken to try those... Though, it'd be cheaper than my snobby habit :B

Thanks :)

there is a place up here by me called fotodiox they make some good units with the focus chips in them. but, you'll have to run a manual focus overall they work well.
I use them for petrographic samples and a canon 40d

I've finally learned the necessity for not fussing with autofocus on macro shots anyway :B

A horse without a rider is still a horse, but a rider without a horse is only human.

:macos: =

Thank-you. I don't get a lot of attn on my gallery. I'm thinking of reshooting this one though, and work to get better lighting/exposure on the foreground subjects. I love the horses :) My friend has a couple I want to visit and see if I can get some good photos of.
